Building a World-Class Teaching Hospital in Ibadan, Nigeria
Introduction:
In response to the deep medical, moral, and spiritual needs of our generation, Burundi Missions is undertaking the establishment of a world-class Christian teaching hospital in Ibadan, Nigeria. This project is more than a hospital — it is a center for healing, discipleship, and medical excellence, where patients experience the compassion of Christ and where health professionals are trained to serve both body and soul.
This hospital will merge the healing ministry of Jesus with modern clinical practice, raising a new generation of godly doctors, nurses, and allied health workers equipped to serve in missions and beyond.
Project Objectives:
- Build a fully equipped teaching hospital with diagnostic, surgical, and specialized care units.
- Train and disciple doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and other health professionals in a Christ-centered environment.
- Provide affordable, compassionate healthcare to underserved communities in Nigeria and across Africa.
- Create a platform for medical missions by deploying trained health workers to rural and urban outreach centers.
- Blend medical training with spiritual mentoring, ensuring every graduate is professionally sound and spiritually grounded.
