About Us
Introduction
Afro-Puritan Christian Mission (formerly Burundi Missions) is a Christ-centered missionary organization standing at the forefront of a divine calling: to raise a new generation of born-again youths, passionate for God, grounded in righteousness, and pursuing excellence in all ramifications of life.
Our Vision and
Core Mission
VISION
To establish a widespread Christian discipleship environment and build high schools across East, Central, and West Africa. These institutions aim to transform secondary schools from hubs of moral decay into nurseries for apostles, evangelists, and godly professionals, restoring righteousness to society.
CORE MISSION
A Secondary School Discipleship Movement — invading African secondary schools with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, discipling youths before the enemy ensnares them. Additionally, planting discipleship centers as greenhouses for revival, purity, and academic excellence.

Broader Vision & Urgent Call
- Building a world-class teaching hospital in Ibadan, Nigeria, that combines healing, evangelism, and medical discipleship.
- Establishing Africa’s largest agricultural hub in Cross River State to raise Christian farmers and ensure food security for missions.
- Expanding Christian high schools across Africa that integrate vocational training, theological education, and Christian mentorship.
- Launching medical and vocational training centers to raise godly professionals in various fields.
Statement of Faith & Doctrinal Standards
We uphold biblical truth, personal holiness, and a conservative Christian lifestyle, ensuring all who serve are born-again and rooted in sound doctrine.
Faith Affirmations
- Belief in the Holy Trinity, Virgin Birth, and the death and resurrection of Christ.
- Emphasis on personal salvation, holiness of life, and obedience to Christ’s commands.
- Alignment with the Early Church and the Bohemian Brethren in purity, righteousness, and humility.
Doctrinal & Lifestyle Standards:
- Only truly born-again individuals can serve as staff or students
- Strict rejection of liberal Christianity.
- Required daily personal devotion, corporate prayer, and modest, conservative dressing.
- Prohibited behaviors include gambling, secular entertainment, worldly music, and unbiblical social behavior.
Consequences for Breach
- 1st Offense: Private admonition
- 2nd Offense: Suspension
- 3rd Offense: Expulsion
Our Standards
Our Standards are uncompromising:
- Only born-again believers are accepted among our staff, missionaries, and students.
- Conservative Biblical Living: modesty, prayerfulness, doctrinal purity, and absolute rejection of liberalism and worldliness.
- Discipline and Accountability: swift correction to ensure purity and holiness remain our hallmark.
Guided by deeply conservative Christian values, aligned with the Deeper Life Bible Church in Nigeria, and inspired by the historic discipline of the Bohemian Brethren, we aim to train and deploy true believers in Christ as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, laboratory scientists, teachers, and other allied health professionals to serve God and humanity.
Our mission includes deploying born-again teachers to oversee high schools and assist in discipleship centers, ensuring that Christian education and spiritual mentorship remain at the heart of every outreach effort.

POLICY HANDBOOK
We've a Policy Handbook that sets out the principles, rules, and guidelines for all who wish to partner with or labor under the auspices of Afro-Puritan Christian Missions .
All staff and students are expected to abide by these standards without compromise, underscoring our enduring commitment to holiness, modesty, discipline, and a robust Christian witness.
Urgent Call
A passionate appeal to born-again youths and adults — doctors, teachers, artisans, farmers — sanctified and called of God to labor in Africa's spiritual revival.
A Clarion Call to Radical Discipleship and African Reformation
“If you are tired of shallow Christianity… If you long to lay your life down for a generation… If you hear the Spirit’s call… Come. Join us. Let’s labor together for a true African reformation.”
Conclusion
